Reese Van Riper have been called the Kings of Jersey Swamp Rock, and they’re still riding high after rocking the Jersey music scene with their phenomenal 2023 epic trilogy Sinners, Saints, and Psychopaths that proved that this band are some of the most prolific and talented songwriters in their genre. Now they’ve followed it up with their latest EP, The American Dream, which was appropriately released on July 4 from Mint 400 Records, and explores the misdirected energies of the American identity.
Today, Reese Van Riper are debuting the video for the title track off of The American Dream. With a love of grindhouse aesthetics packed into a fun-house nightmare of patriotic imagery, “The American Dream” feels more like a demented nightmare of epic proportions. Check out the video below.
