Get ready for a rap and rock collaboration for the ages with Souleye and We Are Pigs.
Originally hailing from New England, Souleye has built up an impressive resume as a rapper, having started writing songs in his mid-teens. Known for his genre-bending style, he’s teamed up with a lot of artists inside and outside of his own genre, including Sunspot Jonz, Random Rab, and his own wife, the legendary singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette.
Meanwhile, Esjay Jones of We Are Pigs has earned a reputation as one of the music industry’s busiest women, having worked with such greats of the rock world as Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins, Dave Navarro of Jane’s Addiction, and Brian “Head” Welch of Korn. She even collaborated with femme-metal giants Kittie for the non-alcoholic beer KittiePIG.
Today, Souleye and We Are Pigs are debuting the visualizer video for their collaborative track “Ghost Town.” With thunderous guitars meeting a slick rap style complimented by the intense rock vocals on the chorus, this song is the best of both the rock and rap worlds. The creepy visualizer adds a sinister element to an already wonderfully dark and wild track.

Beyond this track, Jones and Souleye will be collaborating on Souleye Fest on October 24 at Four-Twenty Bank in Palm Springs. The free festival promises to center on music, art, and plant-based medicines, and will see the release of Souleye’s lucky 13th album Floating in Plasma that night.
