Post-punk no wave band Staring Problem are back. Having been around in one form or another for the past 15 years, the current lineup released their new album Equinox in December on Modern Tapes. In November, we premiered their video for “The Void” with its ethereal atmosphere and echoey vocals that made for noisy perfection. Now, following the release of their new album, the band are debuting the video for their latest single, “Neon.” With melodies lifted straight out of ’80s new wave and similarly haunting, echoey vocals, “Neon” is a powerful track off an equally outstanding album.
