Steve’s 9th Incarnation proudly present their new song and music video “Across The Multiverse,” which was directed and produced by 9th Inc. The song is the first single from the upcoming EP Persplextives. It was recorded in three days at Oxfordshire’s Challow Park Studios with producer Will Biggs.

Steve shares his thoughts:
“I was blessed to meet Will Biggs through a friend whose luxurious ambient record I was producing. I took the band to Challow for three days to get the live show into shape. Three days later we were different people who’d accidentally made an EP. Will became a friend for life, and his contribution, plus Ivan’s string arrangements, took us somewhere I had no idea existed, which I think is adequately captured on PERSPLEXTIVES.”
He adds some context on the track “Across The Multiverse”:
“This one largely wrote itself on waking to find a somewhat conclusive message in red lipstick on the bathroom mirror. The story of a doomed if cherished romance. Autumnal. No immediate link to the accompanying pigeon video.”
He talks about the track “Liability Steve 2026”:
“Late on the second night we had a look at Liability Steve, from the 9TH INCARNATION LP. Lush, beautiful, if in the moment it felt a bit stark reflecting on my younger self’s decision-making. As ever. My favorite recording of ours to date.”
