Los Angeles’ melodic punks Stoke Signals, who rose like a phoenix out of the ashes of the bands Promise Me This and Holy Fangs, only played their first show a little over a year ago and they’ve already accomplished quite a bit. Between a mind-blowing live show and the release of their debut LP, Make Dying Fun, Stoke Signals have already started cultivating a reputation for fast, punchy, fun, and melodic punk.
Today, they’re debuting the video for the single “Mummy,” the first new track off their upcoming EP which is due out this spring off the newly formed HEY!Fever records. HEY!Fever, which was founded by members of fellow LA punk outfit The Heartwells, was just announced today and will feature releases from the likes of Empired and Upper Downer.
“Mummy” is a fast, furious, melodic skate punk banger that demonstrates that good, ol’ classic punk rock will never die. With a video that features the band playing in various locations, including a skateboard shop, you can get a brief glimpse into what makes their live performances so special. Check out the video below.
