Israeli progressive metal and ethno-rock act Submasq have released their new single “Sanctified” along with a music video. The song is from their upcoming album Spirit Animal, which will be released on September 18. It will be their seventh full-length record and Willowtip Records debut.

“‘Sanctified’ was born from the feeling that some apologies arrive too late. It’s about searching for redemption when the person you need forgiveness from is already beyond your reach. The vast silence of the Judean Desert became the perfect backdrop for that journey, and we chose to film it ourselves to preserve its honesty. Inspired by the emotional depth of Opeth and David Bowie, this is one of the songs we’re most proud of on Spirit Animal. I dedicated it to my grandmother, who passed away after battling Alzheimer’s—a disease that teaches you the pain of losing someone long before you have to say goodbye.”
According to the press release:
In January 2027, Submasq will embark on a European tour alongside Rhapsody of Fire in support of ‘Spirit Animal’ with additional international tour dates and festival appearances to be announced.
