Chicago’s The Breathing Light have been building a reputation over the years for combining punk sensibilities with sweeping—and, at times, even orchestral—melodic elements. After releasing three albums on Don’t Panic Records, touring the US extensively, sharing stages with Death (Detroit), and performing at The Secret History of Black Punk Festival in New York, and being featured in Maximum Rock N Roll, CVLT NATION, Razorcake, Bandcamp, Chicago Reader, the band are poised to become an even bigger sensation with their fourth album In the True World, which was released last month on Psychic Eye Records/Don’t Panic! Records.
Today, the band are debuting their video for the single “Rose Red” off the new album. With an ethereal feeling and a beautifully colorful video, “Rose Red” is a reminder of why The Breathing Light are such a rising talent. Check out the video below.
In the True World is out now and you can order it here. Follow The Breathing Light on Facebook and Instagram for future updates.
