Video Premiere: The Goodies – ‘All the Love We Bring’

It’s time to sit back and relax with The Goodies. This San Diego-based reggae/rock/soul group was founded by vocalist, bassist, and guitarist Justin “Goodie” Goodman and his fellow lead vocalist, Zan. Featuring members who have been involved with The Dirty Heads, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Pennywise, Matisyahu, Wyclef Jean, and more, The Goodies are a mixed bag of styles that’s anchored in reggae.

The Goodies’ self-titled EP comes out tomorrow, and it promises to be a reggae rock gem. “This self-titled EP is our heart and soul painted on a musical canvas, including all the beautiful happiness, sadness, love, tragedy, and upliftment that we have inside of us,” says Goodman. “It’s a journey through our musical childhood and modern-day influences combined in a bountiful mash up and authentic interpretation of The Goodies.”

Today, the band are debuting the video their lead single off the new EP called “All the Love We Bring.” The video shows the band playing the song in what feels like a laid-back jam session, which is exactly the vibe that the song gives off. It’s an optimistic anthem of peace and harmony in the traditional reggae fashion.

“‘All the Love We Bring’ is a liberating song about how at the end of the day, love is really all we have to give and receive,” explains Goodman. “At the studio, there is always action, and the homie Todd dropped by and kept saying that in the end, it’s all about the love we bring, it took off from there and became one of the top faves fast! It’s upbeat and to the point incorporating reggae, dub, rock, and soul. “All the Love We Bring” is a song for the people who suffer at the expense of the elite, intended to set us all free!”
