Brooklyn duo The Triceratops are sharing their new song “Candy on the Subway” along with a video which was filmed, directed, and edited by Sean Bryant Dunn.

The band share their thoughts:
“The song is about watching and feeling everything get worse. It’s a true story that long time New Yorkers will know about who, over the years, has sold candy on the subway. We tell it with our noise-pop, and producer Chris Enriquez brought out both sides of that equation in a new way, arranging things to get the most out of both our feedback blasts and our ‘oh oh’ backing vocals.”
John Van Atta (vocals/guitar) and Melvin Monroe (drums/vocals) met each other while working at CBGB in the 90s. The two instantly became friends due to their love for the grunge scene. After CBGB closed, they actually lost connection. The got connected again at a Future of the Left show, which lead to the formation of the project.
