Video Premiere: The Water Dogs – ‘Mirror Room’

The Water Dogs are a femme-forward, alt-pop sibling trio out of Buffalo, New York who started out in 2014. For the past week, we’ve been highlighting songs and videos from this band to feature their different styles, from the hauntingly eerie “Monster,” to the jangly pop of “Tell Me the Truth,” and the bass-heavy “Feel the Bass Drop.”  This band certainly is eclectic and can pull off all of their different styles equally well.

Today, they’re debuting their latest video for their song “Mirror Room.” The song has much of the same haunting atmosphere of “Monster” in a slow, sultry, powerful tune. The vocal performance on this track is undeniably powerful and really takes center stage. The video captures the smoky vibe of the song with mysterious, shadowy visuals shot in an amusement park.

“We hope that ‘Mirror Room’ can take the listener away for a moment,” says Maria of The Water Dogs. ” I think sometimes we all need a little escape, and I feel ‘Mirror Room’ is exactly that.”

If you’ve been liking what you’ve been hearing from The Water Dogs so far, you’ll definitely appreciate “Mirror Room.” Check out the video below.
