Reading, England-based indie-rock outfit Third Lung are back with their new track and lyric video, “Lo-hi,” off their upcoming album, GAME PLAY, due this November. Check it out right here at New Noise.
Third Lung were prepared to start recorded the 10 tracks they had prepared for the album when producer Michael Smith suggested that the album could use one more track, suggesting the project needed a “Sometimes you can’t make it on your own” U2.
After planting the seed, the band started writing and put forward what they believe is one of their strongest tracks to date. The band open up about the new track:
“‘Lo-hi’ speaks to the struggles and battles one person can go through. Sometimes finding themselves alone not knowing how to move forward. Until they find the courage to ask and faith in their friends and loved ones to utter the three most beautiful words: ‘I Need Help.’ One of life’s most encouraging yet hardest lessons to learn is to trust the people closest to you, with you.”
Third Lung will also be performing two festivals this summer. Check out those dates here:
July 10 – Readipop Festival, Reading
August 11, 14 – Lakefest, Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire
