New Jersey emo/pop-punk favorites Tokyo Rose have returned and they’re better than ever. The band recently released their first new music in nearly 20 years with their EP Never Say Die. Now they’re hitting the road with Punchline for select dates on the 37 Everywhere 20th Anniversary Tour.
To celebrate the tour dates, Tokyo Rose are debuting the video for their single “Better When (Fibonacci x Pascal)” off the new EP. The gorgeous math rock track is laden with pop hooks and memorable, passionate vocals making for one hell of powerhouse track and accompanying video. Speaking about the new song, the band say:
“Reimagining the relationship between the numbers of the Fibonacci Sequence and Pascal’s Triangle as a chemically imbalanced, codependent romance, ‘Better When’ is the mathematical theorem-inspired, math-rock fever dream of a manic depressive.”
