Thousand Islands Records will release the new album from French punks Topsy Turvy’s in the U.S. and Canada, and KROD Records are putting it out in Europe. The LP It Can’t Be Easy is slated for release on January 13.
Topsy Turvy’s are a melodic punk rock band with multiple vocalists born in 2008 in Poitiers, France.
Their influences range from classic melodic hardcore from the ’90s to modern indie punk stuff, with a lot of melodies with emo vibes and tons of energy.
After having played over 300 shows around the world (in 26 countries) and releasing three albums and three splits and an EP since their debut, they keep touring and sharing their music wherever they can, still questioning their music practice in a world that is collapsing.
‘The idea that every day is worth living is hard to grasp when the days are really crappy,” the band say. “There is good to be learned from everything, but it’s often easier and more comforting to dwell on the bad. If sometimes you need a little push to get the sun back out, then this song may be the background mood for all the perfect days to come!”
Lineup:
