Wax Mekanix shares his thoughts:
“This wasn’t just a song. It was a musical experiment by me and my fearless crew of creative expeditionaries. A blind leap of faith into the unknown that lit a fire I haven’t felt in a long time.”

“Saltwater Sisters” acts as a fresh chapter for Wax, which is driven by spontaneity, urgency, and the pursuit for new energy. Wax crafted the song as a calculated explosion, a sonic journey that was made instantly with raw edges around it. The song was recorded in Sakred Studios in January. “Saltwater Sisters” draws its inspiration from the energy of John Lennon’s “Instant Karma.”
