Jamaican reggae/dancehall/hip-hop superstar Keznamdi has been making huge waves, even charting on Billboard with his unique and infectious style. A household name in his hometown of Kingston, Jamaica, his name is becoming bigger and bigger outside of Kingston, with his hotly anticipated new album due out early next year.
Today, we’re spotlighting Keznamdi’s latest video for “Identity Crisis,” a dancehall ballad about the modern generation’s addiction to screens, likes, and superficial stardom. It powerfully takes on a modern societal evil with the moral weight of Keznamdi’s personal ethical convictions.
