Front-woman Anna Neitzel shares her thoughts:

“We wrote “Hide” inspired by the incessant inner monologue between yourself and the cruel voice in your own head. We’ve always been a band who is vocal about mental health awareness as well as our own personal struggles with mental health, and so we wanted to get creative in expressing the vulnerability of facing that inner monologue head on. It was a very cathartic song for us to write and record, and we’re really excited to finally be able to share it.”

Neverlyn was formed in  2013 by guitarist and dual vocalist Nisha Rangel and front-woman Anna Neitzel. Both the musiicans were in their teens when they met at college in their music theory class. They were joined by guitarist Merik Perez in 2018. After some lineup changes, the band found bass player Karah Lenzi and drummer Mitchell Tom. The band is independent as of the moment.
