Salt Lake City pop-punk outfit Problem Daughter have just premiered “Like A Dog,” a brand new track off their upcoming album Fits of Disorganized Boredom and it very likely will be the catchiest damn punk song you hear this year. Stream it below and see what we mean.
Bassist Regan Ashton had this to say about the track:
“I believe Shane and I wrote it hungover and before noon, which is an unusual way for us to approach songwriting. It describes the ongoing pursuit of what it is you love to do, even if it ends up ruining your relationships, or making you suffer through pick up jobs or eviction notices; because quitting wouldn’t mean giving up a hobby or an activity, it would mean surrendering your identity and something you’ve labored for more than anything else in your entire life….and fuck all that.”
“Fits of Disorganized Boredom” is out on February 24th via Dying Scene Records and is the band’s second release, following their 2012 self-titled EP.
Digital pre-orders are available now on the Dying Scene Records Bandcamp.
