We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of REPS’ new music video for their song “Dead In The Water” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s latest release Poisoned Youth, which is available now through Bandcamp. The video was filmed & edited by Amber James in the band’s hometown of Rochester, NY.

The band comment on the video:

“We see this video as more of a short glimpse of a day in a life of a REPS gig rather than a performance video. It’s cool to see all of our friends and family in there too, just partying it up with us and having a good time. If you’ve never been to a REPS show, you’re really missing out.”

The band will be playing their last local show of the summer at The Montage in Rochester, NY with Sirens & Sailors, Unwill, Reformer & Ovtlier before going into hibernation to finish writing and recording a new EP, which should be ready for release by the end of this year.

About the band:

REPS is more than a band, they are a statement.

REPS, short for “representatives,” are a representation of our modern disillusioned generation.

Speaking from the heart, REPS has found a way to showcase their thoughts and emotions through fast paced songs, thundering riffs and a commanding form of structure. All of this is showcased on their debut EP Own Your Mind, which has been compared to the modern generation’s version of Every Time I Die & Pantera. Although REPS lists these bands as influences, they have also manged to entangle elements of melodic hardcore and NYHC into their sound as well, giving them a diverse and unique sound that compliments the bands lyrical topics of war, protest, free-thinking & self-sustained destruction.
