French band Resolve is of the former band Above The North, with three of its members (Aurélien, Nathan and Robin) all brothers.
After taking the time to refocus on their creative aspirations, the brothers found a singer to complete their new project: Anthony, former vocalist/guitarist for HAPPENING, a band they shared the stage with a few times. Together, they are playing metalcore that can easily speak to fans of Stick To Your Guns, Landscapes but also Northlane. Resolve is a band name that feels very relevant, considering the things the musicians had to resolve to find their balance, as well as their strong determination. Now that they have found their sound and the way to share it (they have a complete DIY approach), they’re ready to release their first single. “Exposed” also has its own music video, directed by Zac Pinchin (In Archives’ vocalist and music video director for Blood Youth, Acres…), taking on the theme of night terrors.
Throughout the entirety of “Exposed” the band Resolve ride through dissonance while also bringing harmonious pieces to the music.
