Bad Moves
(Don Giovanni)

Moody power-pop and New Wave tendencies traverse these 4 songs from a group of D.C. vets who have paid their dues in Spoonboy, Hemlines and Art Sorority For Girls. While song titles like “Shitty Tomorrow” and “Drain Me” might not seem like the most uplifting tunes, this is immediately and irresistibly catchy from the get-go, as the band dabble in bouncy, hook filled garage rock and thicker, more diverse sounds in the middle before exiting on anthemic and furious energy. It comes on cassette or download (cassette comes with a DL code), and it so good it warrants digging your cassette player out of storage.
