The Asheville quartet return with an expansion on the folky sounds of 2016’s We All The Light with vivid storytelling and a collaborative effort where all respective talents shine.

Song titles like “Born In The Right Country” and “The Feeling Of Freedom” might appear trite in these highly political times, but are delivered with much insight and thoughtfulness, and the music follows suit with plenty of diversity, including Middle Eastern influences and calm piano.

The majority of the album, however, is sunny and harmonic folky sounds with a sprinkle of chamber, surf and baroque pop that’s hard to resist and easy to digest.
