More greatness and weirdness from Brooklyn, after a 21 minute opener of a carnivalesque, otherworldly soundtrack-like oddities, the listen gets slightly more classifiable into haunting space-rock, cryptic storytelling, hazy folk and acid-trip fogginess. Though moments of pop are present, yet fleeting, there’s an atypical memorableness about this as Worthless have more in common with Wayne Coyne than Paul McCartney and are never in short supply of creative, ineffable music where whiny vocals are used sparingly and organs, mallets and psychedelia are used substantially. Certainly one of the most unusual outfits on the Greenway roster, and that makes this even more alluring.
