Album Review: Allan Moon – “Children Of The Call”

Allan Moon
Children Of The Call

Born in Canada but raised in New York and then finding his artistic spirit after moving to Israel, Moon’s beat poetry turned musicianship has dabbled in several genres and volumes, and this installment sits as some of his loudest and most diverse. Most often resembling folk-rock, these well thought out tunes also encapsulate blues, classic rock, prog-rock and funk ideas, putting Moon into a very unique category of singer-songwriter indie-rock. There truly is something for everyone here, and those that appreciate the entire spectrum of sounds are going to gush. (Tom Haugen)
