Album Review: Allora Mis – “We Were Once”

Allora Mis
We Were Once
(Self-Released)

An EP that sounds like its cover art looks, these 5 songs are soaked in mysterious and moody sounds, with occasional brighter moments that are consistently abstract and unorthodox. Probably most easily classified between alt-rock and post-rock, if your ’90s rock heroes were from Iceland, it might resemble this flourishing Philadelphia outfit. A very good EP, and I expect the LP to be incredible. (Tom Haugen)
