Members of Dungen and Granada keep things quiet, breathy and moody with a hint of psyche-rock wrapped up in an ’80s haze with jazz influences. Sure, it sounds messy, but that’s hardly the case, as the Swedish outfit languidly flow in and out of long tracks that are multi-layered and bring plenty of acoustic work as well as synth. Not many people can pull off a band name like this. But when you can make music that resonates like this, well, it’s quite apt. (Tom Haugen)
