Loud, swelling alt-rock colliding with tuneful hard rock from Atlanta, The Armory have a crunchy, dynamic, riff-charged sound that won’t keep them obscure for very long. At their best moments, you’ll hear influences like Deftones or Taking Back Sunday, and though the band get very close to the radio rock ennui we’ve all become weary of, they keep things far more interesting. There’s a lot of potential here; if you plucked out the best few tracks you’d have a fantastic EP. (Tom Haugen)
