Canada has a secret weapon of a band, Marble Ghosts, which have unleashed their EP this May via Self Made Records, The Greatest Divide, separating them from the rest of the pack. This band holds their own on authenticity and purpose. Hailing from Ottawa, Canada they present a genre-bending fusion, a symphony of sound that defies categorization. Their music is a vibrant tapestry woven from modern melodies, aggressive riffs, and atmospheric textures, creating an emotional journey that resonates deep within.

Their background and inspiration comes from the love of all types of rock, metal, and grunge. This diversity created the perfect storm for these gents, The Greatest Divide.

“Distance Between” encapsulates the melodic vocals and heavy riffs with raw emotion with high energy. “Eat The Rich” delivers powerful lyrical content delving deep in the music.

“Behind the gates they are safe
Ruling over the human race.
A dying shell is our fate.
While they jet into outerspace”

“Trafficked (The Devil Inside)” dives into the darkness of the world, the missing and murdered innocent victims. “Gloom” is the darkest of songs, a sad story of child exploitation. It’s powerful and gripping. “Osmium” goes heavy with the riffs, complimenting the old school ambiance, beautifully intense and angry.

Every song on this collection is authentic with blends of metal, rock, and grunge, breaking down the walls of genres for sure. Marble Ghosts have written their own genre and have gained a forever fan. Their message is crucial, along with their music, something we all need to listen to. Social injustices are not spoken enough about, and Marble Ghosts have conveyed this through their own words and music—well done!
