Spencer Berger is a talented man. On his sophomore album as Auditorium, Berger provided all vocals and instruments across 15 tracks that just barely clear a half an hour, relying heavily on acoustic and electric guitars for his introspective indie-folk meets choir-esque tunes that are equipped with endless vocal harmonies. Though Berger was classically trained, which is evident here with the sophisticated and graceful arrangements, there’s a firm pop influence amid the darker themes that soars in a reflective fashion.
