Nunslaughter commands the respect of a vast horde; few and far between were as influential to the evolution of extreme metal as Nunslaughter were the ‘80s. Although they released several demos, splits, and EPs through the underground circuit back in the days of yore, it wasn’t until the 2000s that the band launched off with some real momentum. Now you can experience 2004’s The Supreme Beast EP in the form of a 7″ picture disc, courtesy of Hell’s Headbangers.
If you’re familiar with the original The Supreme Beast EP, then you know full well just how cruel these cutting old school recordings are, but if you’re new to the Venom inspired riffs and guttural grunting on this unholy trio of tracks, then have a seat and blow yourself away.
As well as the original three tracks, the picture disc also features a pretty heavy and respectable Black Tusk cover. Anyway there’s not a whole lot more to say about this one. If it makes you crank the volume to ear damaging levels, and see visions of Satan, then it must be great — right?
