Album Review: One Less Reason – ‘The Memories Uninvited’

One Less Reason
The Memories Uninvited
(Tattooed Millionaire)

Thick, well thought out post-grunge meets hard rock from Tennessee, this 6th album from One Less Reason is a polished affair that rumbles with explosive moments and arena sized riffs, but also moves into gentle interludes with pianos and acoustic guitars. Even though the sounds vary in scope, it’s lyrically dense all the way through, touching on themes of love, hate, and pain, and is accompanied with much emotion and sincerity. If bands like Shinedown, 3 Days Grace, Firehouse, and Trapt mean anything to you, and sing-along choruses, energetic guitar work and calm balladry are a plus, well, there’s plenty of reasons to pick this up.
