A Japanese outfit with a rotating cast of players under the founder Kazuo Tsubouchi, the band tip their hats to krautrock, dub and even folk sounds along this very eclectic listen. Alternating between guitar driven rock and keys versus synth, the back end of the disc then moves into throwback folk music with funk before ending a spacey, abstract 13 minute closer. Though they usually fall under a psyche and prog-rock tag, there are endless ideas brought to life here, which only seems appropriate since the album falls on Beyond Beyond Is Beyond- a label known for unparalleled amounts of ingenuity.
