Vahrzaw’s Twin Suns & Wolves’ Tongue album kicks off as ruthless and hard as any grinding black metal machine should, with an extreme deafening cadence of blast beats and tremolo picking that could barely be described as more than just malevolent noise.
Scott Williams is a super charged backbone to this Aussie trio. His solos and riffs are the spirit of this eviscerating black metal album from 2014. Their music conjures elements of Atheist, Napalm Death, and Mayhem into one revolting package. Since the original recordings were released on limited CD-Rs, Blood Harvest has scheduled the album for re-release on their catalog.
Twin Suns & Wolves’ Tongue certainly packs a wallop. I would definitely say that if you’re into the relentless grime of blackened death, then you should investigate this longtime underground Australian act.
