Everyone’s favorite Greek, ritual-influenced death metal band, Rotting Christ, just came out with a book (but it’s in Greek), and finally released a new song.
Their recent track, “Fire and Flame,” is also now an official lyric video for their book, The Metal Chapters: Volume One. As with most of their stuff, the song is spiritual, dark and ancient-sounding, with plenty of death metal energy, a little melody and a tinge of black metal.
Unfortunately for American fans, at least those of us who aren’t fluent in Greek, the book won’t be accessible yet, but who knows how many languages it will end up getting translated into if it does well. Plus, there is new music to enjoy from one of the most solid death metal players out there.
