With a few East Coast reunion gigs under their belt, Baltimore’s hardcore stalwarts Ruiner are heading west for a run of California shows in May. The band, which formed in the early 00s, disbanded in 2010. Since, they’ve quietly reunited for a few shows and for the first time in seven years, they’ll tour the west coast. See all confirmed dates below.

Equal parts confrontational and cathartic, Ruiner released two studio albums, Prepare To Be Let Down (2007, Bridge Nine) and Hell Is Empty (2009, Bridge Nine) and a handful of EP’s throughout their career. The band played over 700 shows in every nook and cranny of planet Earth and the news that Ruiner will tour again couldn’t have come at a better time. Vocalist Rob Sullivan commented on the band’s reunion in his trademark forthright tone:  “We are just really excited that anyone gives a shit we are back doing this damn thing.”

May 19 – Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA
May 20 – Che Cafe in La Jolla, CA
