New Noise Magazine is pleased to share the new album of SednA, out on September 13th via Spikerot Records.

From enraged blast-beats to slow-paced heavy parts reaching soft and placid clean interludes, The Man Behind The Sun by Italy’s SednA is a bleak and beautiful 33-minute-long sonic opus delving deep into the hazes of Black Metal, Post Rock and Doom.

“This album marks a transition for SednA. It’s a rite of passage towards a new era, the end before a new zero point. We are very proud and honored to share this key moment with Spikerot Records, because they are trusting our possibilities and they truly believe in this release, giving us the opportunity to make it great as we’ve always desired. The Man Behind The Sun will be the last chapter of this journey into space before delving into new galaxies” comments the band’s mastermind Alex Crisafulli.

Recorded and mixed by Enrico Baraldi (Ornaments) at Waiting Room Studio, Bologna and mastered by Lorenzo Stecconi (Lento, Ufomammut) in Rome, SednA have channeled all their strongest sentiments to create their most crushing effort to date, solemn and uplifting.
