Seeker have unveiled a music video for their song “Loss.” The song is also the titular track from the band’s upcoming record, Loss, out via Victory Records on October 14th. The song’s music video is shot in a similar style to their previous single, “Void,” utilizing up close shots with plenty of terror stricken footage. Instead of a pulverizing and quick assault like from their last single, “Loss” is slower, utilizing much more of a doom filled ambiance to convey their heaviness. It’s an ominous tone swirling around the band’s release. Catch Seeker on tour to here the entire record played live.
The song is “about the day that the person who I loved more than anyone died and the mental and emotional aftermath of her suicide,” divulges frontman/bassist Bryce Lucien. “Most of songs on the album are about the events leading up to that. It’s why I left the band. That’s as much as I’ll get into it. I came back into the band because it was the only way I knew how to process through everything that happened.”
