What’s more Los Angeles than a secret show in the Sunset Strip? Well, it wasn’t really a secret show, but it definitely was a hot ticket for a Wednesday night. Sheffield’s own Bring Me The Horizon surprised their L.A. fans with a last-minute show at the world-famous Whisky A Go-Go, before going full on this Friday at Knotfest LA.
BMTH got two of the scene’s up and coming artists to open the show, Jeris Johnson and “sass-core” heavy hitters Seeyouspacecowboy. Both act put out high energy performances, which was a perfect build-up for what was coming up next.
Bring Me The Horizon treated Los Angeles with a jam-packed set with all the hits. From the second they came on, the crowd pushed up and reciprocated the band with crowd surfing and stage dives and sing alongs! You know, another sweaty, crazy show from the lads.
In 2016, I spent a month on tour with BMTH, and I can really say, their fan base has grown absolutely monstrous since then. It can be the change in sound, or aesthetic, or Bring Me The Horizon just have that wow factor to be that huge in the world.
The emptiness is heavier than you think
