Since the release of their sophomore record, Bay Dream, these California rockers hit the road with another stacked tour. As direct support for Philadelphia’s Nothing, the Culture City Rockers also played alongside Seattle’s Big Bite and Cincinnati’s Smut.

The tour stopped by the Regent Theater in Los Angeles for what would be Culture Abuse’s third to last stop of tour.

Cincinnati, OH’s very own Smut kicked off the show, giving the crowd a very chill and intimate set that I absolutely vibe with. If you’re a fan of that good good shoegaze, then I highly suggest you listen to this band. It may be vibey but it was definitely in your face.

Shortly after, Big Bite came on the stage and brought a more energetic set as the crowds slowly filled the room. I’ve seen Big Bite before at the Pop Wig after show of Sound and Fury ’17. I loved them then, love them now!

Since the release of Bay Dream, the Culture Abuse camp had been busy with festival appearances both in Europe and America and coming back from that they went straight to a full US tour. The band didn’t waste any time giving their Los Angeles fans the high energy and very interactive Culture Abuse set that we all know and love. Them Culture City Rockers at it again!

Closing the night was, Philadelphia’s Nothing. After the success of their sophomore record, Tired of Tomorrow, the band shares another banger record with the world in the form of Dance on the Blacktop. FFO: Vibey tunes, volume to 11 and Jesus Piece.

Culture Abuse will be home for a while and will be out again across America with Gouge Away. DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR.
