News: The Used Frontman Bert McCracken Announces New Solo Project Robbietheused

Big news: Bert McCracken, frontman for The Used, introduces his solo project, robbietheused. His brand-new solo project released a new song, “Just A Little Bit,” via Big Noise. Tearing into a whole new genre at the age of 40, McCracken dives into pop music with no fear.

“I wanted a nice 40th birthday present for myself,” he says. “So, I decided to make a pop record.”  The song is uplifting and high-energy with lyrical content that will bring smile to your face. McCracken says, “It’s a song about living through turmoil of the world and seeing a bit of a bright future ahead, seeing the sun peek out of the clouds, seeing a mistake being fixed. It’s about having a little hope.” The song is quite catchy like a fresh breath of air and gives a good vibe from beginning to end.

His producer John Feldmann, together with Bert, collaborated in this exploration into the pop genre as they incorporated heavy base undertones and other variations. Even though The Used are his primary focus, this project has illuminated his life with love and positivity. “Just A Little Bit” is just the beginning of this exhilarating journey bringing joy through his music and lyrics inspired by his own life reaching into the more hopeful direction. This new chapter in Bert’s music career is about creating a positive impact and also challenging himself. Go check out the song; it’s definitely a banger!
