With the explosion of craft beer and wine, and even cannabis in some states, it’s not uncommon for bands to be slapping their logos on products designed for inebriation. The most recent band to do this is Sinsaenum, who just released their own wine.
The band are a supergroup of sorts, with members from very unlikely bands, including Frederic Leclercq (Dragonforce), Joey Jordison (Slipknot) and Attila Csihar (Mayhem and Sunn O)))). Their new Wine, called A Taste of Sin, is in collaboration with 666 Metal Wines.
“The A Taste of Sin 2015 shines in a deep, dark red,” the website claims.” The smell reveals plums and sweet cherries, which are supported by a smoky-spicy fragrance. The bouquet indicates maturation in French oak barrels. On the palate, raspberries and subtle roasted aromas pamper. A full-bodied wine with a pleasant draft and ripe tannins.”
“I actually discovered this wine producer last year at the Metal Hammer Awards in Berlin,”Leclercq told Metal Injection. “I got really surprised by its quality, and when I found out it was called 666 Metal Wines, I was sold! Back home, I ordered a case, and that’s how things started.”
So, if you’re a wine enthusiast, grab some strong cheese and relax with some brutal, metal-themed wine.
