The Skulx is some rock & roll motherfuckers. Loud, brassy, proud and sassy, find out why Citybeat Magazine says their 2016 self-titled debut album on Mind Over Matter Records “folds the standard blueprint of rock into a giant origami swan, turns it on its head, spray paints it with fluorescent colors, dusts it with powdered sugar, and puts a match to it.”
“T. S. R. (This Shit Rules)” is the first track from Artistic Integrity Records‘ 4th annual covers compilation. It will be officially released via the label’s Bandcamp on January 1, 2017. For now, check out The Skulx’s cover of the Against Me! song below.
Proceeds from the sale of the compilation will be donated to Gender Is Over!, which is a cause that AM! frontwoman Laura Jane Grace has worked with closely and supported in the past.
The band comment on their cover:
“This song has started a lot of parties for us and fueled more great times than we could possibly never remember. This was pretty much our only song choice and we’re so honored to serve up our take on it. Thank you Against Me!”
