Video Premiere: Slimfit – “Baron Von Gromley”

Slimfit

We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Slimfit’s music video for their song “Baron Von Gromley” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album Sorry About That, which is scheduled to be released on July 21, 2018.

I was spending three nights in Ann Arbor by myself for work, which was fairly boring. So I drank some gin, forgot to rotate the camera on my phone, and had a staring contest with myself. The song itself is about a period of time where I finally thought I was getting the hang of this whole ‘life’ thing, only to be proved very very incorrect. The whole album is sort of the journey of going through extreme change. The beginning, where you feel really down on yourself and your worth, the middle, where you make a little progress, but also encounter a new slew of problems, and finally the acceptance phase where you make peace with who you are and the choices you’ve made and vow to be an improved version of yourself in the future. The songs on this record are all written in different phases of that journey, so it’s a bit of a roller coaster. Moral of the story is: life is short, eat a lot of Mexican food, and Go Browns!

Slimfit is a three piece pop-punk-ish family band from Columbus, OH consisting of Josh Davis (guitar, vocals) Regina Squeri (bass, vocals) and Daniel “Space Camp” Seibert (drummer boy).
