Video Premiere: SMUG – “All Used Up”

SMUG

We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of SMUG’s music video for their song “All Used Up” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album gorgeous, which is scheduled to be released through Good Boy Records.

The band commented:

‘All Used Up’ was written about being down on your luck with no money but still making the best of it all. So when we made the video we wanted to capture that idea. Plus, it was fun to beat up Trav.

Our LP, ‘gorgeous,’ is a collection of songs that we have written over the past year and we’re stoked to finally be able to release them. The album is 10 fast, punky, fun songs contained within a half an hour

SMUG, proudly blowing out America’s eardrum one punk track at a time.

About the band:

A musical powder keg three parts power pop, indie rock and pop punk, detonated by wild abandon – SMUG’s high-octane guitar solos, jubilant hooks and slacker anthems inspire much headbanging, high-kicking, and windmilling. With inspirations from classic emo and punk artists like Jeff Rosenstock, PUP, Bully and FIDLAR, SMUG continues to redefine the true essence of having fun, and how that translates through catchy, hard-hitting music.

Their debut LP, gorgeous, came from a discarded Polaroid at a costume party. Someone scrawled the word “gorgeous” underneath a picture of an imitation Steve Irwin. The seed was planted, and the inspiration grew.

Upcoming Shows:
July 7 – Jacksonville, FL at Harbor Tavern
July 8 – Miami, FL at Churchill’s Pub
