New Noise Magazine is kicking this Thursday off to a brilliant start thanks to the exclusive premiere of “Blood In Your Arms” by Bloodlines. The song is driven by a frenetic guitar riff played at a really driving pace. The vocal delivery gives the song an eerie and tense vibe, flowing between caustic screams to high end falsettos to whispers. With a booming instrumental progression, “Blood In Your Arms” is a highlight of what is to come from the Scottish act, who are releasing their next EP, Primal Cuts, on March 16th.

“We’re massively inspired by loud exciting guitar bands so we set out to create some music that would make us want to shout thrash our instruments. The EP is themed around phobias and facing up to them.”

Bloodlines are a high-intensity rock band from the Highlands of Scotland. Rehearsing in small rooms and garages in the middle of nowhere, the aim was always to make the mountains shake – and now they bring this energy to the stage and studio. Known for their antics and drive, Bloodlines have been often described as one of the best live acts in Scotland, and their track record shows it with stand-out performances across the country at festivals including T in the Park and Belladrum, as well as regular sold out shows.

Their no-nonsense, rock music has been well supported by a host of respected media- with regular exposure on the BBC, Amazing Radio, featuredonBT Sports rugby coverage and playing a full set of music live onBBC Radio Scotland. The winners of the Scottish Alternative Music Awards: Best Rock Band always thrive to make each show their best, and you can tell by the sweat pouring from them by the end of every set- even those outside on cold Scottish nights. Previous releases “All Your Love”, “Mother’s Misery”, “Skeletons” and “Love The Taste” are available on all major outlets.

Bloodlines will be playing shows around the UKto support the release of this EP. These dates willbe announced on the 7th of February and tickets willbe available for the Scotland shows on the 9th February.

This is a rock n' roll takeover.
