We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Cross Me‘s new song “Forever Cursed” (listen below). The song is the title track from the band’s upcoming EP, being released March 11th through Bridge Nine Records. You can purchase the album here.

The band comments on the song:

“The title track ‘Forever Cursed’ is a song that I feel captures our sound well. We always do our best to blend thrashy guitar work with heavy bass and drum patterns, and I feel that this song in particular both of those elements shine. I wrote this song about/for my Dad, who almost lost his life in a major heart surgery. It’s essentially about watching someone you care about suffer, and all you can do is wish for the best. Needless to say, this song has a lot of meaning to me. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! “

After touring relentlessly and seasoning and developing their sound along the way, Cross Me are ready to release their Bridge Nine debut EP. Titled Forever Cursed, these four songs compose a mean, turbulent 10 minutes of hardcore with deep introspection and heavy thrash and metal influences that gives them character and unique flair amid a crowded modern hardcore field.

Hailing from Milwaukee, Cross Me formed in early 2013, bonding over a mutual love of classic and modern NYHC (The Icemen, Madball, Backtrack). They came out of the gate with their 2014 EP, Paid in Full and last year, the Mind Prison / Content flexi 7″, both released on Flatspot Records.
