We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Indonesian Junk’s new song “Turn To Stone” (listen below). The band’s self-titled album is available at the Rum Bar Records’ Bandcamp.

Indonesian Junk frontman Daniel James comments:

“This is the first Indonesian Junk track I didn’t produce myself. I loved the total control I had over our previous stuff, but the fact of the matter was that producing all our material was really cutting in on my ability to write new songs at a pace I was comfortable with. We cut this tune with Shane Hochstetler at Howl Street in Milwaukee. I was a little scared to give him the controls, but I think it turned out pretty sweet.”

Big hooks and big riffs is what Indonesian Junk is all about. Hailing from the land of Lenny, Squiggy, and the Crusher, this Milwaukee ménage à trois takes the best elements of glam, punk, power pop, and heavy metal, and ditches the fluff. They’re both sleazy and sincere, pairing damaged love with dangerous guitar heroics to create their tuff street-pop shakers.
