We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Philly-based band In The Pines’ new song “Fifty-Four” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s upcoming EP Sides, which is scheduled to be released on February 10th through Black Numbers. You can purchase the EP here.
Following their 2016 release Forever Green, their latest EP Sides was recorded by Evan Bernard (The Superweaks) at Big Mama’s and mastered by Ace Enders (The Early November) at the Lumberyard.
Formed in 2014, In The Pines came together through mutual friends in a basement in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood. Quickly they realized, aside from their love of cheap beer and dad jokes, they also shared a passion for creating music. Since then, In The Pines have been a regular in the Philly live music scene playing with bands such as Banquets, Mikey Erg, and Podacter. After being signed by Black Numbers, the band put out their first EP Forever Green in February of 2016.
The Sides EP is also available on limited-edition flexi discs through the Black Numbers webstore.
