New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the exclusive premiere of debut single “Reptilian” from Ration Card. The song shows off the discordant heaviness of the group, ripping through ears with chaotic approaches. The song is a strong offering for a debut, and can be heard below. “Reptilian” is taken from the upcoming self-titled EP, out on March 29th via Equation Conspiracy Records.

“It’s definitely the heaviest song on the EP, but its also my favorite. People really respond to this one at shows, and I don’t think we really understood how growling and angry it came across until we put in down on tape in the studio. We surprised ourselves.” – Travis from Ration Card

The group draws frequent comparisons to bands like Fugazi and Big Black, and their recordings would fit as comfortably among the late 80s / early 90s Dischord Records roster as it would among current influences like Hot Snakes and Metz. Accented by unconventional time signatures and unexpected musical tangents, Ration Card keeps you on your toes while blasting out a unique take on punk rock.
