Stars Hollow and New Noise Magazine are pleased to bring forth their new single “Good For Nothing.” The Ames, Iowa trio utilize dazzling emo instrumentals with screamo vocals to bring forth their inner catharsis. Stars Hollow will take their song on tour with them with Catholic Werewolves, Internet Dating and Employer. The dates can be found on the poster below.

The new song by Stars Hollow showcases the band being more inventive with their style, utilizing an imaginative soundscape that is more reflective in tone. The bass tone establishes the song’s framework, allowing for the guitars to noodle across the frame. With such a bitingly introspective mood, vocalists Tyler Stodghill (guitar) and Jesse Ledbetter might as well be writing a love song to themselves. The music video establishes the song’s inspired view of the world within the lens of the D.I.Y. community. “Good For Nothing” is a charming look at the bright future for Stars Hollow.

“‘Good For Nothing’ is one of two of our songs on a split with Employer, Catholic Werewolves, and Internet Dating. It’s being released through Tilde Records on May 26th. The video was shot by our friend Kaytlin Dargen over the course of four days while we were on tour with Unturned. Long live riffs.
