Music Video Premiere: VVD WNDWS – “The Sad Poetry Of Violence”

VVD WNDWS

New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the exclusive premiere of “The Sad Poetry Of Violence” by VVD WNDWS. The song is off of the previously released record, Blue Landscape, which was released earlier this February.

The video for “The Sad Poetry Of Violence” pulls the viewer into a kaleidoscopic fever dream filled with vibrant hues, blindfolded figures, silk flowers, and invocative dance. Inspired by 1970s experimental film and theatre, the video is an exploration of emotional energy and personal rituals. The themes, developed by the band, touch on ideas of loss of self within the creative process.

“The Sad Poetry of Violence” was filmed in San Francisco and created by Dustin Khebzou and Megan Biscieglia. It is the first single from the project’s EP, Blue Landscape, and was released digitally and on cassette on 2/04/19 by Glowing Dagger.
